Vertical Five-Axis Machining Center

GA-FA320Vertical Five-Axis Machining Center

The shortest step from three-axis to five-axis: a Φ320 direct-drive cradle table on a vertical machining center platform your team already knows how to run.

What we advertise is what we are willing to sign.
The specifications below are published exactly as they appear in the technical agreement — not as they appear in a brochure.

Why this machine

Three things this model does better than the alternatives — and the numbers behind each of them.

01
Φ320

Direct-drive cradle table

A fully direct-driven five-axis cradle table — no gearing, therefore no backlash to compensate and no wear curve to manage over the life of the machine. Table load 100 kg. The spindle and the rotary table are cooled independently by a Gree-developed cooling system, so heat from one axis does not creep into the other.

02
0.01 / 0.006 mm

Over the full travel, not a sample zone

0.01 mm positioning and 0.006 mm repeatability, stated over full travel and taken from the technical agreement. ‘Over full travel’ is the part of that sentence worth checking against any competing figure.

03
52.5 N·m

Five axes without a new operator programme

BT40 at 12,000 rpm, 24-tool magazine with ≈ 2.5 s tool-to-tool change, 48,000 mm/min rapids, Syntec 220MA-5 PLUS control. The platform, the tooling and the fixturing habits carry over from your three-axis machines.

How to read the Basis column. “Verified per signed technical agreement” means the figure is taken from the contract version of the technical agreement and can be checked line by line against it. “Subject to final technical agreement” means the figure is brochure-level data and is not a contractual commitment.

Typical applications

Where this model earns its place on the shop floor.

Automotive components

Angled faces, compound holes and interfaces that would otherwise need two or three separate three-axis setups — consolidated into one clamping on the cradle.

Medical joint components

Complex curved surfaces machined in a single setup, which is the only reliable way to hold form accuracy across a contoured part.

Motor end covers and cover plates

Multi-plane features on relatively light parts — well inside the 100 kg table load, and a natural first five-axis job for a shop making the transition.
