Why this matters even if you never buy Chinese
These 2027 targets will shape what "standard equipment" means within three years — AI programming assistance, data openness, agent-driven process optimization. Buyers who specify those interfaces today avoid retrofitting them later, whichever flag the machine carries. The plan is also a useful tell: suppliers who can map their own road-map onto these targets are thinking about integration and lifecycle, not just iron.
